The Jewelers of Second Life are proud to announce Jewelry Fair 2011 – The Elements. 4 sims full of jewelry and jewelry related items from some of the most incredible talent in Second Life, come together to offer a feast of jewels, precious metals and amazing treats.

Come share a moment with the amazingly talented Jewelers of Second Life as we explore the 4 Elements from September 16-25, on an amazingly designed 4 sim experience.  From the floating fantasy islands of Earth with jewels and trinkets woven into the branches and leaves, to the ruins of Fire complete with flames and jewels, to the tropical oasis of Water finding the gems hidden amongst the bamboo, and finally the serenity and elegance of the clouds far above in Air, there is plenty to feast your eyes on.

More than 100 merchants have come together to bring you this amazing and breathtaking event.  Come prepared to be amazed!  Merchants include jewelry designers, pose stores with jewelry poses as well as jewelry supply stores to offer a huge array of choices in style, design, and products.

Join us in exploring jewelry design at one of the jewelry classes offered by some of the top teachers in Second Life and even learn how to create some very simple jewelry pieces yourself.

Proceeds from Jewelry Fair 2011 benefit Oxfam International, an international charity that reflects the international nature of Second Life itself! Charity vendors, one of a kind auctions, and even Gacha machines will all be available at the fair that donate money!

Organized by Cara Ametza with sim designs and builds by the talented Angelica Leiner of Angelic Designs assisted by Roseana Pera of Pixie Paradise.

We already bought our tickets and we were wondering bout how to do to honor these great books and movies. Well, it's SL, so we decided to run a mini hunt to celebrate.It will start in Asha, then you will use the Floo Fireplace to go to the other sites!

There are 25 hallows with a prize. All hallows will give you a diferent T-shirt, with one of the movie posters, but....Who knows? Maybe one of them has something more:)

 This neat outfit was made to the teachers who don't want to wear just robes.

The shirt and vest can be used as a single jacket layer if you wish to wear the outfit without the trench coat.In this pic, the av is wearing Pants Layer, Vest and Shirt Jacket Layers, Gloves and Shirt lace Cuffs.  The lace  cuff goes great with just the shirt.










The shirt and vest can be used as undershirt and pants layer together if you wish to wear the coat.
The pants can be found in the underwear and pants layer to match your needs.
The trench coat comes in jacket layer and several prim attachments, 2 sholder pads, the coat lower part and 2 cuffs  cuff in black and gold like the coat.
If you don't want to show your pants while you move, wear the skirt too.



                                                              

The set also brings a bow tie with ruffle to the av neck and a tophat. In this pic, we can se the  bow tie with ruffle.

She is happy in my house and I hope the japanese dogs can be happy and healthy like she is.

I think everybody heard about what happened in Japan and other places last week. As usal, the SL community is strongly commited with helping, so.....The Pumpkin Head is in the Pacific Crisis Fundraiser, running March 16-April 10th.  Japan is having a really bad time and this amazing SL ppl set an awesome fair to help the japanese people.

PACIF CRISIS FUNDRAISERS FOR JAPAN - ABOUT THE EVENT AND ORGANIZATION

1. Pacific Crisis Fundraiser

日本時間3月11日に起きた東北地方太平洋沖地震被害者（原文：海難被災者）のための緊急資金援助活動の準備が進められてます。


An emergency fund raising effort for the victims of the crisis in the Pacific that hit on the 10th/11th of march is being set up.


Se ha creado un esfuerzo de recaudación de fondos de emergencia para las víctimas de la crisis en el Pacífico que aconteció el 10 y 11 de Marzo de este año.
セカンドライフは確実に日本でも強力な基盤のある国際的なコミュニティーです。この災害は世界規模でコミュニティーとしてのセカンドライフが何度も立ち上がってきたような危機と同じ様に、私達（欧米人）にも衝撃ををあたえています。


SL is an international community, with a strong base in Japan specifically. This disaster is worldwide and affects us all, as a community SL has risen up time and time again to help out in times of distress, including very recently.



SL es una comunidad internacional, con una base fuerte en Japón en particular. Este desastre es a nivel mundial y nos afecta a todos. Como comunidad que somos en  SL, nos hemos unido una y otra vez para ayudar en situaciones de emergencia.

2010年9月にはセカンドライフのイベントでユニセフ・パキスタン洪水被害者救済基金へ11,000米ドルが寄付されました。イベントは四日間にわたって開催。これはセカンドライフ（原文：私達のコミュニティー）が何が出来るかの一つの例で、これからも同じようなシンプルで効果的な企画を準備しています。


In September 2010 11,000 us dollars was raised for the Pakistan flood crisis relief fund (UNICEF) at an sl event. An event organized in four days. This is an example of what our community can do, and we are attempting to prepare for a similar, simple but effective, event.
En septiembre de 2010, se recaudaron  11.000 dólares  para el fondo de alivio de la crisis de las inundaciones en Pakistán (UNICEF) en un evento de SL. Un evento organizado en cuatro días. Este es un ejemplo de lo que nuestra comunidad puede hacer, y estamos preparándonos para un evento similar, simple pero eficaz.

From March 16 to April 16, Radar Magazine will be hosting and sponsoring a series of events to help raise funds to benefit victims of the Japan earthquake and pacific tsunami relief fund in conjunction with Red Cross.


Events include a market with items from some the of top creators in Second Life, a special runway show featuring one-of-a-kind items, and an auction of items featured on the runway.


All proceeds raised from this event will go directly to the relief fund with proof of donation posted on our blog.

Cientos de muertos a causa del Tsunami en Japón por un terremoto de 8.9 Grados Richter.


TOKYO – Un tsunami generado por uno de los terremotos mas feroces que se han registado,  cerró la costa este de Japón el viernes, matando a cientos de personas, ya que arrasó con barcos, vehículos y viviendas, mientras que los incendios quedaron fuera de control.


La policía dijo que 200 a 300 cuerpos fueron encontrados en la nororiental ciudad costera de Sendai, la ciudad en la prefectura de Miyagi, o el estado, el más cercano al epicentro. Otros 137 fueron confirmados muertos, con 531 personas desaparecidas. La policía también dijo que 627 personas resultaron heridas.


El sismo de magnitud 8.9 en alta mar desencadenó un tsunami de 23 pies (siete metros) y fue seguido durante horas por más de 50 réplicas, muchas de ellas de más de magnitud 6.0.


Decenas de ciudades y pueblos a lo largo de 1.300 millas (2.100 kilómetros) tramo de costa se vieron sacudidas por violentos temblores que llegaron a lugares tan lejanos como Tokio, cientos de millas (kilómetros) del epicentro. 


"El terremoto ha causado importantes daños en amplias áreas del norte de Japón," dijo el primer ministro Naoto Kan en una conferencia de prensa.


El sismo fue de casi 8.000 veces más fuerte que la que afectó a Nueva Zelanda el mes pasado, devastando la ciudad de Christchurch.

Las Olas del Tsunami provocan daños en Hawaii.


HONOLULU – Las olas del tsunami inundaron las playas de Hawai y sacudieron la costa oeste de EE.UU. este  viernes, pero no inmediatamente después de causar daños devastadores Japón y provocando evacuaciones en todo el Pacífico.


Kauai fue la primera de las islas de Hawai afectados por el tsunami,  causado por un terremoto en Japón, dijo el Centro de Alerta de Tsunamis del Pacífico.. El agua se precipitó a tierra en Honolulu, que abarca la playa de Waikiki.
